Stearman Flight Experience

Our Pay’s Stearman is a model B75N1 and was manufactured in the US in 1941 and was first registered on the US civil register in 1964 and was exported to Australia in 1990 and civil registered as VH-YDF. It is painted in a US Navy training colour scheme from late World War II.

Our Stearman flies regularly and is available for flights!

This is ideal for someone who would like to enjoy the speed and the sound of a roaring radial engine in a genuine military trainer. If you are feeling adventurous there is an option of doing aerobatics.

For a 30min flight just $400

Before flying with us, some important notes, passenger themselves must:

• Have reasonable flexibility to get in and out of these aircraft, ability to climb at least a 4 step ladder is essential.
• Consider themselves reasonably fit in terms of health conditions.
• Weigh no more than 110kg, and be aware seat belt extenders are not available.
• Have no alcohol in their system and be at least 14 years of age.
• Consider whether they would like aerobatic manoeuvres to finish the flight.
• Understand these flights are not available every day.
